Fred
Wheeler
While
working as a fraud investigator, a chance conversation with a
coworker led Fred Wheeler to become a reserve police officer. Twenty
five years later, he’s still at it. Fred is also heavily involved
with the Community Emergency Response Team, teaching citizens how to
help out during a disaster or emergency. His other passions are
woodworking and photography. And Marilyn.
Homicide
Detective Eddie Danvers and his squad pull two cases the same night; a
patrolman found dead next to his squad car, and a shady businessman
shot in his office a few blocks away. Timing and proximity
suggest the
murders are related. As the squad members dig into the cases, a
widening list of other crimes, motives, and suspects develops.
